When I sit upon this granite rock and look out
across the sound...
everywhere I see parts and parcels of my total being:
I am the woodrose...
I am the river and its course...
I am the Sun from the East...
returning to the West.
I am the death of a child..
I am the anticipated birth of another.
I am the breath...
and bellows of this frame...
I am grateful for this moment .
